Rome I, Irish version: is a large-risk insurance contract without a choice governed by the law of the consumer or of the insurer?

The other versions point to the law of the country where the insurer has his habitual residence. The Irish text names the consumer, a party that a large-risk insurance contract does not have.

Consequence

For a large-risk policy between an insurer in one Member State and a business policy holder in another, without a choice of law, the Irish text points away from the insurer's country.

Proposed correction

The lawyer-linguists could say whether the wording should be aligned with the other versions: replace the consumer with the insurer in Irish Article 7(2), second subparagraph.
