PRU(INT) auditor certification covers quarterly returns submitted 'by the PRU Investment Firm' (copied from PRU INV)
PRU(INT) 5.2(2): the auditor's certification must relate to the annual returns and "each set of unaudited quarterly returns that have been submitted to the AFSA by the PRU Investment Firm in the previous year". A PRU Investment Firm is a category under the Prudential Rules for Investment Firms; PRU(INT) applies to Insurance Intermediaries and Insurance Managers, called together "Authorised Firm" (1.3(1)). 5.2(1) and the first sentence of 5.2(2) speak of an Authorised Firm, so the meaning survives. This is the converse of our observation AIFC-PRU-03, where PRU (Investment Firms) 3.2 refers to "the Insurance Intermediary".
Proposed correction
Please replace "PRU Investment Firm" with "Authorised Firm" in PRU(INT) 5.2(2) (an editorial correction under section 19(3)(a) of the AIFC Regulations on AIFC Acts).

The certification must relate to the annual prudential returns and each set of unaudited quarterly returns that have been submitted to the AFSA by the PRU Investment Firm in the previous year. The term “Authorised Firm” is used where rules apply to both Insurance Intermediaries and Insurance Managers.
