ARXO-2026-0029 · Reported
AML 13.6.1(b), 13.8.1, 13.8.2, 14.1.1(d)–(e), 14.5.1(c): references to "AML 13.7.3" now point to the wrong rule
Seven references to "a notification to the MLRO under AML 13.7.3" survive from the 2018 numbering. AML 13.7.3 is now "Suspicious Activity and Transactions Controls" and creates no notification; the employee's duty to report to the MLRO is AML 13.7.5. The MLRO's duties to enquire, to decide on a suspicious transaction report, to record reasons and to keep records are attached to the old number.
Proposed correction
Please update the seven references to AML 13.7.3 that are meant to identify employee notifications to AML 13.7.5 (an editorial correction under section 19(3)(a) of the AIFC Regulations on AIFC Acts).
