Beef cattle grading, paragraph 28: class I is written as “81-70 points”, so totals of 61–70 fall into no class

Paragraph 28 of the grading instructions for beef cattle sets “elite – 71-80 points”, “class I – 81-70 points” and “class II – 51-60 points”. A total of 61 to 70 points matches no row: a cow scoring 65 receives no class for the complex of traits. The Russian and Kazakh texts read the same way.

Consequence

An animal with a total of 61–70 points cannot be assigned a class for the complex of traits.

Proposed correction

“Class I – 61-70 points” (Kazakh text: “I сынып – 61-70 балл”).
